Cleric Saye Mohamad Ali El Husseini from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs: We are fighting intellectual security and political war against extremism and terrorism.

 

Within the context of his European tour, Cleric Mohamad Ali El Husseini, Secretary-General of the Arab-Muslim Council in Lebanon, visited the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and met with Mr. Bosl Interreligious Affairs Officer and Ms. Oren Aimar Middle East Affairs Officer at the Research Center. Cleric El Husseini conducted his condolences and stop a minute of silence for the souls of the victims, he assured that the injury is one and that extremism and terrorism have no race or doctrine or homeland and serious and keen work must go ahead to confront this serious epidemic that threatens humanity as a whole.

 

Cleric El Husseini confirmed after listening to the French officials’ views and attitudes, that today we are all fighting a real war which includes intellectual, political and security aspects against extremism and terrorism, and it is very important to be clear and comprehensible to everyone that this war is not a war against a specific race or religion or sect or even a specific country or continent, it is a full-scale war that concerns everyone and accordingly all mankind must be in one vessel to confront this cancerous danger to humanity as a whole.

 

Cleric El Husseini went on saying: We are all in the same trench to the confront terrorism and extremism and everyone must perform his role in this regards; and upon concluding his statement El Husseini stressed on the need for the formation Arabic- European Alliance in order to confront together extremism and terrorism.
